Who are the instructors for the adults? and for the kids?
We are still working on that. We have several ex-players and teaching pros lined up, but as with any start-up, this is something where we will be using a variety of people until we find a group that best fits our needs.
Kristi Francis will be leading several of our programs at this time. We are also hoping that our assistant coaches, Ricardo Rubio and Darija Klaic, will be involved from time to time.
As for court reservations, we are also going to have courts open in the mornings for a discounted rate. Between 10 and 1, courts will be avilable for use for $15, at least until Spring Break. I would say you could reserve a court, but I will wait until the software actually goes live next week before making that promise.
This is a true work in progress and we are starting with a very soft opening right now until all systems are in place and working.
If nothing at all, drop by and check out the free clinics Monday and Tuesday and say hello
What are her teaching credentials, or is she just going to feed some balls. I know she can play.
She is not only a fabulous player, but also a very insightful student of the game, from a teaching perspective.
Many people don't realize this but Kristi actually was on the UT tennis team in the 80's. She has been teaching here and there at various places, filling in when needed. She has also taught several junior, including her own daughters.
She will be awesome.
I thought Kristi played for UT in the 60's.
early 60's
I love all of you!!!
I took my kids out to PATC last night and they worked with Kristi. They had a great time ! My older son commented that she helped him generate some extra power on his forehand. Thanks Krist.
